(2′-Hydroxy-5′-Methyl-Phenyl)Benzotriazole As a UV absorber, it is widely used in polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, AS resin, ABS resin, polypropylene, and polyethylene. Can be used together with phenolic antioxidants and phosphite antioxidants.
Drometrizole is an absorbent that can efficiently absorb 290-400nm ultraviolet light, with low volatility and good thermal stability. This product hardly absorbs visible light, making it particularly suitable for colorless, transparent, and light colored products.
